Usage Note 42533: SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager servers must be restarted in a particular order
There are dependencies among the servers used by SAS Real-Time Decision Manager. If you start your servers in the following order, then the needed processes are available for each server as it is started:
- IBM WebSphere MQ Service and queue manager (Note: ensure that the queue manager is running before you perform the next step by typing "dspmq QM_QMANAGER" in a command line.)
- SAS Real-Time Decision Manager Object Spawner
- SAS Remote Services
- Web Application Server instances associated with SAS Real-Time Decision Manager
Stop the servers in the following order:
- Web Application Server instances associated with SAS Real-Time Decision Manager
- SAS Remote Services
- SAS Real-Time Decision Manager Object Spawner
- IBM WebSphere MQ service and queue manager
Check that all associated processes have stopped before restarting.
